This high definition digital video recorder can record 8 channels in stunning 1080p HD High Definition at once. You can use any HD high definition camera or standard analog cameras with this DVR. We have several available in the accessories area at the top of this page. You must use an HD camera to achieve the HD quality. You can use normal cameras and record in D1. However HD gives you 6 times the resolution of traditional older style analog cameras. All of this is done while using normal power video cables. You can mix and match any HD and standard analog cameras.

1080p 8CH Penta-brid HDCVI DVR
This Series HDCVI/TVI/AHD DVR offers 5M-N/1080p recording on each HD channel and a host of advanced features and functions. The DVR takes advantage of HDCVI technology for easy integration into existing video surveillance systems while leveraging existing networks, cabling, and cameras. Penta-brid access technology seamlessly records video from HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS, and IP sources simultaneously. Mix and Match HD Cameras and Standard Analog Cameras
This is a hybrid DVR. This means you can use any combination you wish of standard analog cameras and/or mix and match CVI, TVI, AHD cameras. This allows easy upgrading as you go. You can easily replace a standard camera with an HD camera as your budget or needs change.
