HD Smoke Detector Camera
This normal looking smoke detector has an HD 1080p pinhole camera inside of it. The smoke detector is non-functioning. We do use normal looking smoke detector housings such as the kind that would be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot. Usually a First Alert model.
Power Video Cable or CAT5
There will be a power video wire coming off the pinhole camera inside the smoke detector that will go up into your ceiling or wall and then it must run to your DVR. A person can also use CAT5 instead of our conventional power video cable. The CAT5 will be able to accommodate power and video by using video baluns. When using CAT5 cable you will only have to drill a 1/4 inch in your ceiling or ceiling tile to install this hard wired hidden camera.
Side View Only
The side view camera looks out at approximately a 45 degree angle. This is more suited for looking out into an room or down a hallway.
Two Camera Model Side View Only
This model incorporates 2 individual cameras. Cables will occupy 2 video inputs on your DVR. You will have somewhere around a 230 degree coverage. The standard model will have the cameras opposite each other. If you want the cameras located differently, then please call us.
Multiple High Definition Formats
The high definition 1080p 2 megapixel pinhole camera used in the smoke detector can be programmed to CVI, TVI, AHD video format.
