The SSC-106CXHRC and SSC-106CXHRF are day night indoor pinhole board cameras offered in flat and conical lens. 700 lines resolution and automatically switching between a very sharp crystal-clear color picture in normal lighting to a black and white picture when it gets dark. You will not find another color board camera that will be this high-quality color in daylight and automatically switches to a super low lux of .0001 black and white picture in the dark. This camera has a 1/3 inch Sony Super HAD CCD with an IR cut filter to allow for the low lux ability and 850-940-950 infrared compatibility.
Infrared Sensitive Camera Select Different Models
It is quite rare to have a pinhole board camera sensitive to infrared illumination. This pinhole board camera is able to see 850nm, 940nm and 950nm infrared illumination When this option model is selected. The 940/950nm is virtually invisible to the human eye. This means when someone walks into a completely pitch black room it will be very well lit when this camera is used with a 950nm illuminator. This means recording footage will be lit up as well. The basic model is only 850nm IR compatible.

Available In Conical Or Flat Lens
What is the difference between a flat lens and conical lens? The picture is the same regardless whether you select a flat pinhole lens or conical pinhole lens. There is no distortion with either. The difference lies in the installation. Most people find it easier to install a conical lens in drywall or ceiling tile. The super conical lens almost comes to a point and requires less of a hole in the surface area of drywall or ceiling tile. By the same token, the flat lens is better when using it in something thin, such as a shirt, blouse, or painting. Both cameras only need a very small hole to see. The closer the pinhole lens is to the exterior surface of the material, the wider the field of view will be.
