The SSC-107CVI-HDWH is an underwater color camera. It is a high definition camera and can only be used with a CVI HD capable DVR to record. If you have a newer HD DVR, it will most likely be able to view and record in multiple video formats. Most new DVRs automatically detect CVI, TVI or AHD video formats. Make sure to check your DVR before purchasing this camera. We build these cameras here in different high definition formats. Some have white LEDs and some have infrared LEDs. The video format cannot be changed on the camera. You must purchase the camera in the video format you need.
View, Record or Playback in High Definition
1080p high definition video. You need an HD high definition DVR in order to record with this camera. The video connector is BNC and must be connected to an HD DVR in order to view live or recorded video. The video out connection on you DVR must be either VGA or HDMI in order to view live or recorded video. This camera does not connect directly to a TV.
Mounting Screws for Flexibility
Camera has 2 mounting screws on each opposing side for a total of 4 mounting screws to be able to mount to your rigging system. Click on the images above to view the camera and get a better feel for it. The camera is not aligned with the screws in any way. Make sure to view the camera before any type of permanent installation.
There is NO mounting hardware of any kind that comes with this underwater camera except for the screws. Do not hang the camera by the power video wire.
Submersible to 40 Feet
Camera has 50 feet of attached power video cable. The camera is submersible to approx. that length.
Best Viewing between 2 and 10 feet
We adjust the lens so the sharpest picture is between 2 and 10 feet away from the camera. If your needs are different and you need to have the best sharpest picture under 2 feet or beyond 10 feet, then call us and we will build it specifically for your distance requirements.
Bright White Lights with Dimmer Control
This camera comes equipped with a white LED array of lights. The dimmer control is adjustable and can be turned off completely if you choose to do so. The most ideal viewing is in daylight with LEDs turned off. This will provide high resolution 1080p viewing. At night or in the dark you may only be able to see less than 10 feet because the LEDs will glare off anything in the water that is near the camera lens. The dimmer control can be turned off completely if you choose to do so.
