High-Gain Amplified Line-Level Microphone

Operates anywhere between 9 and 12 volts DC. Use a 9-volt alkaline battery or a power adapter to power this microphone. This mic is equipped with an RCA jack for audio connection and standard female barrel connector for power. It is most popular with investigators for body-worn applications. This mic can operate on 9 or 12 volts with 10ma power consumption. The overall length of the microphone is 21 inches.

Power By 9 or 12 Volt DC Battery or Included AC Power Supply

Standard 9-volt battery will power this microphone for 100+ hours or use A 12 VOLT DC AC power supply for 24/7 continuous use. Easily connect the RCA jack to a body-worn DVR, VCR, or even a wireless transmitter. This microphone is equipped with a power feed-thru jack. This means you can plug a power supply into the microphone and, in turn, plug the microphone power into a camera in order to power both items from one single 12-volt power source. The plug on mic is standard size for CCTV equipment, 5.5 x 2.1mm round barrel connector.

Effective pick-up range of microphone is  1 to 30 ft.

Can Be Used Indoors Or Outdoors

This microphone is rugged and durable and can easily be used outdoors as well as indoors.  Note: The tip of the microphone needs to be shielded from rain.  This is generally very easy as you can put the tip of the microphone inside of a sunshield of an outdoor camera.
