SSC-56C series cameras are ideal for theaters, sleep Clinics, store rooms, warehouses, nursing homes, and many other locations where you do not want the camera visible at all in the dark. This may also include armored trucks, luxury buses, vans and taxis.

This camera is widely used by Police departments and security agencies for discreet surveillance.

This 940nm LED is above the human eye spectrum of viewing. This simply means the glow of the LED is invisible to the human eye. The camera will see the light just fine. When you are viewing live or recorded footage you will be able to see just fine as well. It is only the physical camera itself has no glow at all at night like the 850nm cameras do.

The field of view (FOV) of a camera is dictated by the lens size (in millimeters). The smaller the mm lens the wider the FOV. The larger the mm lens the more narrow FOV.  Please utilize the tool to the right for the best lens selection for your application.

This camea is full color in normal light, with a 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD with 700 lines resolution. It automatically switches to B/W with infrared illumination in low light conditions. See up to 75 feet in complete pitch black total darkness.

The attached power/video cord is approx. 18 inches long. An AC adapter and mounting bracket are  included. The camera is 12 DC volt operation.
