Surveillance Cameras Catch Murder

Kinston police have released surveillance video of a possible suspect in the murder of Elwood Hill that happened nearly two weeks ago.

Hill was murdered after he showed up for work at Sutton Brick Company on Park Avenue. The minute long video is from a surveillance camera near the brick business and shows a man approaching the business around 5:55 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on the morning of the murder.

Police say when the suspect approached the brick company he was wearing a white tee shirt and black jeans, carrying a black jacket with a hood. When he left the man puts on the black jacket and hood.

The owner of Sutton Brick has offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction in Hill's murder. The man worked for Sutton Brick for more than 40 years.
