The wired siren & strobe light connect to the base unit. It emits a very loud siren and strobes a bright red light when the alarm is tripped. The siren and strobe connect via a wire to the base unit. It is hard wired to the base unit. It does not require local power, but it must have a wire run between it and the base unit. This item is weatherproof and may be placed indoors or outdoors. If several of these are placed on the exterior of the house, it would definitely draw too much attention for a criminal to continue a break-in. The Wired Alarm Strobe/Siren incorporates a 120db loud siren & flashing red strobe light. The unit is weather resistant.Only one Alarm Strobe/Siren can be added to a system. Please note:
