4 channel selectable weatherproof wireless video transmitter. This unit has a 1300 ft. Line if Sight rating. If you plan on having 4 wireless cameras or less, this is the transmitter to get! The 24-TXW series allows you to select 1 of 4 channels on the 2.4ghz frequency for each of your transmitters which in turn connects to each of your cameras. The 1300 ft. transmission rating is Line of Sight (LOS). You can attain a 1300 ft. wireless transmission distance when there are no obstructions such as trees, buildings, walls, doors or anything else that may obstruct the view and prevent Line of Sight. Distance and quality of video transmission will vary and/or diminish depending on what obstructions are in the way. 2.4ghz wireless routers may completely knock out some wireless camera channels. We strongly suggest you only purchase one of these transmitters to start with if you have any of the wireless items we just mentioned in order to find out just how many clear channels you can attain. Each camera requires its own transmitter and receiver. You may upgrade to a 6db receiver. This will not double your distance in any way. It will only strengthen your signal and give you a little more distance. Each camera needs its own transmitter and receiver to view. One transmitter can only transmit one video feed.
