3db Indoor Receiver included Dimension: 4" x 4" x 2" Different weatherproof transmitter housings are available below. The first number on the product id is for the length of power cable to power the transmitter box. The second number describes the length of power/video cable to power the camera. *Normally one power supply will power the tx box and camera. An indoor receiver comes standard with your weatherproof transmitter purchase. All transmitters on this page are weatherproof and ready for outdoor use. The included **3db receiver will connect to your TV, VCR, or DVR. This wireless set-up can be used with any of our weatherproof cameras. If you never plan on having more than 4 wireless cameras, this is the package to get!

*Note: If you are purchasing a high powered camera such as our Super 48 Infrared, or our 24 Volts AC varifocal IR camera we will have the power cable to the camera located outside the weatherproof box in order to power the camera separately. We will include an additional power cable to connect to the camera as well as the additional power supply.

**Note: You can upgrade to a 6db receiver below. This does not double your distance in any way. This will only strengthen your signal and give you a little more distance.

All transmitters on this page are Outdoor weatherproof 4 Channel user selectable transmitters. This allows you to achieve the best picture possible. If the current channel has interference, simply change the channel of the transmitter and receiver to a different channel.

Only the transmitter which connects to the camera is weatherproof unless you purchase the outdoor receiver option below. Transmitter is built inside a NEMA 4 weatherproof box with 4 mounting holes. You may select between the ultra compact 2466 transmitter (2-1/4" X 2-1/2" X 1-3/8") or the standard enclosure (4" x 4" x 2") transmitter with varying power and power video cable lengths. One power supply will power both the transmitter and camera. A separate power supply is required if you are NOT using a 12 volt DC camera.

Each camera requires its own transmitter and receiver. If you only have 1 outdoor wireless camera you can connect the receiver directly to your TV or VCR. If you plan to utilize more than 1 wireless outdoor camera, you will need additional equipment such as a quad to connect to your VCR or a DVR Card for your own Windows pc, or a complete computer based surveillance system if you want to view and/or record multiple cameras simultaneously.

Wireless transmission is not for everyone. Distance, quality, and ability to transmit wirelessly will depend directly on how many obstructions and what kind of obstructions are in the way such as trees, houses, buildings, satellite dishes, wireless routers, 2.4ghz cordless phones, and even cellular towers. If you have any of these in or around your home or office, then begin by only purchasing one wireless unit to find out how many channels you can attain.
