Portable Body Wear DVR with Color Screen and Recording
This DVR records from an external camera (ideally a body worn camera -- like a button camera). Camera connects to DVR using included AV cables. Recordings are stored on removable SD card (available separately). Playback video on unit using 2.5 inch color screen, on TV using included cables, or on computer using USB. The unit has 2Gb built-in memory and is expandable up to 4Gb using an SD card (available separately). DVR can also record audio as well.
More Than Just a DVR
In addition to being a great body worn DVR, this unit can also function as all of the following:
- MP3 Player - It can play normal MP3 files just like your iPod
- Video Player - Play asf and avi files on the color screen. Sound comes out of the speakers or use the included earbuds
- Digital Camera - The unit has a built-in camera that allows you to take high quality pictures
- Camcorder - The built-in camera also allows it to record video just like a camcorder (audio, too)
- Picture Viewer - View Jpg files on the color viewer
- Calculator - Built-in calculator
- Voice Recorder - Record memos for yourself or important conversations using the built in microphone
Easy Recording
Simply connect your camera to the DVR using the included AV cables. Press record on the DVR and you're recording. The DVR is quite small and can easily fit in your pocket, purse, or backpack.
Video Playback
There are 3 options for the playing back of recorded video
- Play it back on the unit itself. Video will play back on the 2.5" color screen on the DVR
- Connect the DVR to your TV. Using the included AV cable, you can connect the DVR to your TV's video input jack and play the videos back on your TV
- Play the video on your computer. Connect the DVR to your computer using the included USB cable. You can easily download or transfer the clips to your computer. Once the clips have been downloaded, you can easily email them, upload them to a website, burn them to a CD, etc.
