If you are using a PTZ camera with a DVR or computer then you need this adapter. This allows you to connect the two PTZ control wires to your computer. It connects into a Com port on the back of your computer. You do not need this if you are using a keyboard or joystick-like controller.

Baluns are designed to run video and PTZ control for up to 1000ft over Cat 5 cable. Power can also be run through the baluns over Cat 5, but for shorter distances. It is always best to locally power a PTZ cameras. These baluns can be used for regular cameras by running the power and video through Cat 5 or for PTZ cameras by running the power, video, and PTZ control through Cat 5.

Using baluns allow you to send video, power, and RS-485 PTZ control through regular Cat 5. Save time and money by using regular Cat 5 cable when installing cable. No need to run separate control wire. It can all be sent through standard Cat 5 cable. Baluns allow your cameras to be installed easier using your existing wiring. Connect a PTZ to a normal Cat 5 jack and view, control, and power it from another office through the existing wiring.

These baluns convert stadard cabling into twisted pair wiring. This allows easier and longer runs of cable. Run up to 1000ft of Cat 5 for your PTZ camera.

This kit allows you to mount the 270X Outdoor PTZ hanging from a ceiling. The camera itself comes with wall mount bracket. If you want to have the unit hanging from rafters, a ceiling, etc, you will need this ceiling mount kit.

In addition to using the included 9" mount, this kit also allows you to use standard 1 1/4" PVC pipe for custom lengths. This is often what you find at large department or home improvement stores when they have cameras hanging 10 or 20 feet from the rafters.
