The TXWDIGI long range transmitter has a 2000 ft. LOS rating. LOS means just that, line of sight. Absolutely nothing in the way will allow for this distance. This model will give you an advantage over standard 1000 ft. LOS transmitters when you are transmitting through walls and other obstructions.
The weatherproof transmitter and non-weatherproof receiver are digital. They will not get interference from cordless phones or wireless modems and wireless routers. They are already paired together so when you receive your order they simply need to be powered up.
One power supply will power the transmitter and camera. Power will feed through the transmitter box to connect to the camera for video feed and power.
You may also elect to upgrade the receiver to include a 12db weatherproof antenna. The antenna connects to the receiver with a special 18 inch cable which is included with the antenna. The antenna can be located indoors or outdoors. The cable between the antenna and receiver cannot be extended, but the cable between the receiver and the DVR can be extended up to 100 feet.
Keep in mind, each camera needs its own transmitter and receiver. One transmitter can only transmit one video feed.
This setup does not have designated channels. The unit is paired together. Although there are thousands of pairing signals it is recommended not to have more than 4 transmitters and receivers in one location. If you purchase more than 1 package and have a transmission problem, then simply re-pair one of the packages.
