This motion detector is non functioning. It is the standard size PIR that you will find in most alarm systems. The camera and entire DVR is built right into the detector. The SD card inserts into the bottom. When this is positioned correctly up in the corner of a ceiling no one one will ever know this is a hidden camera. A power source is required. It can operate from an external battery source located above the ceiling tile. Unit will automatically begin to record after SD card is inserted and power is connected. Recording can be started or stopped via the included IR remote control. Efficient motion activated recording. Playback recorded footage directly to a TV with included cable or remove SD card and playback footage on your computer using the included USB card reader. No computer is really necessary for the usage of this product. One will, however, enhance the usage.
3 Different Ways to Record
- Motion Detection: Built-in motion detection recording means that it can easily be set to only record when there is motion or activity taking place.
- Continuously: You may also set it to record continuously if desired.
- Schedule Record: The third method of recording is scheduled record. The menu will also allow you to select which hours of the day you want to record whether it be continuous, motion activated or not at all.
In addition you may also select the overwrite feature which will overwrite the oldest footage when SD card is full. All recordings are timedate stamped and stored to hidden SD card. Unit will accept up to a 32Gb SD card.
Playback Video on TV or Computer
Unit can connect to TV for playback via the video out jack or to a computer via a USB card reader. Recordings can easily be transferred to a computer where they can be emailed, uploaded to a website, uploaded to You Tube, or archived on your computer. All hardware and software needed for TV and computer viewing is included.
The included software allows you to easily browse the recorded footage. No need to click through hundreds of different video clips looking for the right one. The software lets you view the footage in a variety of ways. The software allows you to see all your events as one file. This is the easiest possible way to playback all your recorded footage. You can view it at normal speed through 64X on a computer, the slide bar allows you to go forward, backwards, jump to hours or days ahead, stop for a snapshot, or even simply cut out the video clip you want. You can jump to a certain time frame using your mouse. You can play it in slow motion forwards or backwards. Easily export clips to AVI or WMV video format.

H.264 or Jpeg Quality Recorded Video
Files can be recorded and stored in H.264 or Jpeg format. This means they will have higher quality with lower file sizes and you will get more recordings on your SD card.
User Adjustable Frame rates and Recording Times
Units have user-adjustable framerates. Higher framerates mean smoother video but memory usage. Lower framerates mean more choppy video but longer recording times. Unit can be set to overwrite. When set to overwrite, it will record over the oldest footage when the SD card is full. Overwrite allows the unit to run for weeks or months on its own. When something happens, simply pull out the SD card and review your recorded footage.
