Short to Medium Range Color Varifocal 1,000 TV Line Outdoor Camera with 2.8-12mm Adjustable Lens
The SSC-310VCHR7W is a full true color outdoor weatherproof camera in normal light. The camera view can adjusted and set anywhere between 2.8mm and 12mm. This outdoor camera allows for an outstanding picture day or night. See up to 150 feet in total darkness. 36 LEDs and 1,000 lines resolution provide for excellent viewing, even in pitch-black darkness. User Adjustable 2.8-12 MM Lens for Versatility
Adjustment screws are underneath the camera, making it very simple to change the field of view and focus after the camera is installed. 2.8mm being wide and 12mm being narrow.
The main and most important advantage of a varifocal camera is to allow the user the ability to locate the camera wherever he chooses and still have the perfect width of viewing.
Fully Weatherproof and Extremely Durable
Fully weatherproof with a 2 ft. power/video cord attached, AC power supply, mounting bracket, and sun shield are all included. 12 volts DC operation. Camera features 36 LEDs and a 2.8 to 12mm varifocal lens that is user adjustable. This allows you to get the the best possible FOV for your specific use. The 42 Infrared LEDs provide magnificent nighttime viewing and the high-resolution color 1/3" CMOS chip gives superb color viewing in the daytime.
The camera's power video cable feeds through the bracket; top, bottom, or back for complete concealment and security of wires. The back of the bracket is the cleanest installation because the cable can be fed directly through the wall.
Viewing and Recording Video Hard Wired
Coming out of the camera are 2 wires - one for power and one for video. Many people use one of our power video cables to connect to the camera and then run that cable to the TV or DVR. This option does not require local power where the camera is at - it plugs in for power at the other end of the cable.
Make It Wireless
Another option is to connect the camera to an optional wireless transmitter. We have both an indoor wireless transmitter
and outdoor wireless transmitter
. If using the wireless option, the included receiver would connect to your TV or DVR. The wireless option always requires local power where the camera and transmitter are located.
The camera will have to be connected to a DVR if you wish to record.
DVR Usage and Compatibility
Most customers choose to connect the camera to a DVR for recording. We have a 4 Camera

DVR which will great with this camera. The DVR allows recording, motion detection recording, playback, and internet / smartphone viewing. When using a DVR, either the cable from the camera or the wireless receiver connect to the DVR input jack. Then, the DVR connects to your TV or computer monitor.
