Powerful Infrared Illuminator
Infrared emitters or illuminators can add lighting to an existing surveillance camera if the camera is infrared sensitive or compatible. Not all cameras are. If your cameras already have infrared LEDs and you wish to add more lighting, then this will work for you. Most IR cameras are only compatible with 850nm. If your camera does not have any leds, these may still work for you if your camera is infrared compatible or sensitive. If you are not sure, please check with the manufacturer of your camera before ordering.
Cameras See the Light But The Human Eye Does Not
These illuminators have infrared leds that emit light at 850nm. This is a part of the spectrum that the human eye cannot see. Infrared cameras or ir sensitive cameras, however, can see the light. This means that you can add light to your video security system without adding visible light (such as a flood light). Your video image will be brighter and more like daylight when you use an infrared illuminator.
Weatherproof and Ready for Indoor or Outdoor Use
Infrared illuminators only require power. You may place them next to your existing infrared camera or place them somewhere more ideal for you specific application such as closer to your target viewing area. These illuminators are completely weatherproof and can be used indoors or outdoors. The built in CDS sensor turns on illuminator at night and off during the daytime. Ideal for playgrounds, warehouses, back yards, driveways and anywhere else.
Quick and Easy Setup - Just Plug It In
These units are 12 volts DC operation and we include an AC power supply. A Mounting bracket is also included. One year warranty. All you do is point it at the area you need lit and plug it in. The power supply is included.
The Illuminator Advantage
Infrared illuminators can be a great addition to your video surveillance setup. Because they do not require a video signal, only power, you can add them into an existing system to help your lighting. If there is a particular area you need more light in, you just need to plug it in and point it at that area.
