Below is a brief overview of our Geovision DVRs. Please note these are actual screenshots of the software you will be using. Above each screenshot is a description of the screenshot, and below is an short overview of what the window does and why you would be using it. There are quite a few images on this page, so make sure to scroll all the way down until the bottom of the page.

Main Geovision Window

The main Geovision Window is where you will spend most of your time. From it you will access virtually all of the functions. You may view all of your cameras, one at a time, or have it automatically scan through them.

System Configure

This window provides the configuration for your DVR system.

Camera Settings

You will have one of these screens for each camera you have installed. In it, you may set the recording quality, when it will record, and how you will be alerted.

Scheduling

This is the scheduling window. Here you can individually set when each camera will record. You can specify different times for different days for each camera.

Video Log

This is how you view your recorded footage. It is easily organized by camera and by time to make things easy for you to find.

This is what you will see when you install a camera

Auto Reboot

You may schedule a reboot of the system at a time you specify. This is useful in case something unusual happens, like your computer crashing.

User Management

You can create, modify, and delete users and their permissions from this centralized location. You can specify the rights of each user you create. For instance, and employee or child might receive lower priviledges than a coworker.

Email Notification

You may set the system to notify you by email when motion is detected, and even attach an image and/or audio file.

System Log

The extensive system log allows you to always know what happened, in case you ever need to verify or disprove a discrepancy.

Remote View Compression Selection

You may choose your connection type.

Remote View Select Internet Connection

Selecting your internet connection will allow Geovision to suit you better by giving a video signal that best fits your connection.

Remote View Logon

The user you log in as will be give the appropriate rights, as showed above in User Management.

Remote View Main Window

This is the main remote view screen. After you successfully log in, you will see a screen quite similiar to the one above, only differing by the pictures.
