Dual Mode Camera Sees Great in Daytime and Nighttime
This is our best dual mode board lens camera! Automatically switches between a high resolution crystal clear color picture in normal lighting to a B&W picture when it gets dark. You will not find another board lens camera that will be this high quality color in daylight and automatically switching to a super low lux of .001 black and white picture in the dark. This camera is also infrared compatible. This means you can use 850nm ir illuminators with this camera to really light up a room even in complete and total pitch black darkness.
Use the tool on the right to see which lens is best for your application.
Automatically Switches Between Color and B/W
When it gets dark most color cameras will just lose their picture and go black. The IR filter in this camera will allow it to continue to have a picture until it gets extremely dark. Most B&W cameras only have a .05 lux whereas this one is .001.
Several Different Lenses Available for Different Applications
This is not a pinhole camera, it is a board lens camera. For this reason you can select up to a 16mm lens. Ideal for indoor surveillance when you must keep the camera far away from your subject. The smaller the mm lens, the wider the field of view. The larger the mm lens, the more narrow the field of view. The FOV calculator on the right side of the page will help you determine exactly what lens will fit your application.
Installation and Recording
All of our board cameras are plug and play ready. This means there is already a short wire connected to the camera which simply plugs into the included power supply for power and your TV or VCR to view and/or record.
This camera can operate from the included AC power supply or from any of our battery packs if you are requiring short term surveillance without a wall outlet nearby for power.
Wireless Option
This camera can easily transform into a wireless covert camera by connecting it to a transmitter. The wireless option on this page includes the transmitter as well as the receiver. The transmitter also operates on 12 volts just like the camera, so you can power both from batteries if you must.
