2 Men Get Photos Taken While Stealing Surveillance Cameras

The theft of video-surveillance equipment from Northeast Side businesses is the crime of the week in the Crime Stoppers program.

Throughout June, two men stole security cameras mounted to buildings, broke glass doors and smashed floodlights.

Their destruction hit a snag when they had their pictures taken as they stole one of the cameras. Those pictures can be seen at the Crime Stoppers website, www.stopcrime.org.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information received by Aug. 18 that leads to an arrest or indictment. Call 614-461-8477, e-mail tips from www.stopcrime.org or text a tip to 274637, keyword CMH.
