Security Camera Catches Beach Buglary


STUART — Martin County Sheriff’s Office detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who is suspcted of breaking into a vehicle at Sea Turtle Beach on March 6 and stealing $400 in cash and a credit card.

According to a news release issued by the department, the man described only as a white male broke into the vehicle of a Michigan couple, then used the card at the Walgreens pharmacy in the 2100 block of Southeast Ocean Boulevard, and at the Winn-Dixie store on Southeast Federal Highway.

A surveillance camera at the Walgreens recorded the suspect, and photos of him are being circulated by the department.
