Man in New Jersey Caught From Surveillance Cameras Blog

Newark, New Jersey (KFSN) -- Critics are complaining about lenient charges against the man labeled as the "most hated man in New Jersey".
Haisong Jiang admits he was the person in this security video crossing into a secure area at the Newark Airport. He says he was just trying to get one last kiss from his departing girlfriend. Investigators caught him quickly after the video was released and they say he'll be punished. "If you breach a secure area you're gonna have to pay a price," said Sen. Frank Lautenberg, (D) New Jersey. But the charges against Jiang are for misdemeanor trespassing, and the maximum punishment is a $500 fine. Many people say the punishment doesn't fit the crime, considering his actions set off a terror alert that shut down a large terminal for six hours, stranded thousands of people, and cost taxpayers and airlines more than a million dollars.
