Top 5 Security Camera Myths

There are some common misconceptions about security cameras.  We're going to address the most common misconceptions in this article.

Myth 1: Security Cameras Are Expensive

Security cameras do not have to be expensive at all.  We have security camera systems for all budgets.  Yours can be had for under $100.

Myth 2: You Don't Need Security Cameras

You may not think you need security cameras.  Just like you may not think you need insurance.  But when something happens, that's the time you realize just how much you do need it.  Many customers call us telling us how much was stolen yesterday or how their house was broken into last night. Now, they want a security camera package. But, they really could have used one BEFORE the incident.

Myth 3: Security Cameras Are Hard To Install

If you have a drill and some drill bits, then you can install security cameras.  You will NOT need to pay an electrician to install them.  You can easily do it yourself in your free time or on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Myth 4: Security Cameras Don't Provide Good Video Footage

This one is simply not true.  Security cameras combined with a DVR card or standalone DVR will give you very high quality footage.  Using the right equipment, you could easily get the license plate from up to 400 feet away.

Myth 5: Security Cameras Draw Too Much Attention
